Our Story
Focused Moments Photography was built on two passions: connection and purpose.
Mara brings over 20 years of photography experience to every session. Long before picking up a camera professionally, she spent years working with children and families as an educator. That background shapes everything she does — patience, understanding, and the ability to create a calm, natural environment where people feel completely at ease. She knows how to bring out real smiles, genuine emotion, and authentic connection.
I’m a military veteran currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Digital Photography. My background in service taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the importance of capturing what truly matters. Photography, for me, is about honoring moments — the big milestones and the quiet in-between ones. As an animal lover, I also have a special place in my heart for capturing the personalities of our four-legged family members.
Together, we combine experience, heart, and intention to create images that feel timeless and honest.
